Major Ronald Stevens

Ronald Stevens started his career with the Westminster Police on August 16, 2005 as the Administrative Commander. He was promoted to the rank of Major on September 1, 2006. He is responsible for Communications, Property/Evidence Control, Quartermaster, Fleet Maintenance, Training and Human Resources.
Major Stevens came to this Department after retiring from the Maryland Transportation Authority (MdTA) Police as a Major with 28 years of Maryland State service. While with the MdTA Police he served in variety positions to include Patrol Officer, Polygraph Examiner, Shift Supervisor, Detective Commander, Central Region Commander, Baltimore/Washington International Airport Detachment Commander, and Chief of the Administrative Services Bureau.
Major Stevens holds an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and The Maryland Institute of Criminal Justice for Polygraph training. He is married with two children and resides in Baltimore County.
