CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION

Construction Inspection personnel are responsible for the inspection of construction on City capital projects and development projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.

The City’s two full-time construction inspectors work with construction contractors to ensure the highest quality work. They inspect all types of projects including sanitary sewer, water, roadways, storm drains, and buildings and parks. Additionally, they maintain testing records, daily records of progress and review monthly contractor invoices for work completed and payment. Finally, they respond to citizen complaints and address problems in the field.
