The Assistant Director of Streets and Utilities is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the personnel and activities of the Street Department, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant and Utility Maintenance Departments.

The Assistant Director of Streets and Utilities works closely with the Senior Engineer and various department superintendents to insure the safe, and effective functioning of the City’s water and sewer utilities. The Assistant Director of Streets and Utilities assists with the City’s capital projects, and investigates and resolves citizen complaints. The Assistant Director of Streets and Utilities is also responsible for utility computer technology to improve and enhance the City’s ability to analyze, update and model utility issues.
