MINUTES

April 14, 2003

The Westminster Historic District Commission (HDC or Commission) held a special meeting on April 14, 2003 at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall.  Chairman Camlin; members Walters and Thomas; and Technical Planner Fisher were present.

Chairman Camlin opened the meeting with a "Statement of Authority" for the HDC.

Mr. Fisher presented for final adoption the revised Rules of Procedure for the Documentation of Historic Structures Located in the City of Westminster Historic District (Rules).  Mr. Fisher stated that staff had made several modifications to the Rules as requested by the Commission.  Mr. Fisher highlighted several changes, including the addition of a “Reason for Demolition” section, a revision to the floor plan requirements to include a measured drawing of all floors of the structure, and an added requirement that digital photographs be printed as well as saved on a compact disk.  On motion of Mrs. Walters, seconded by Mrs. Thomas, the Rules were unanimously approved as presented.  Chairman Camlin signed the original copy of the Rules at 5:21 p.m.

The HDC scheduled the next meeting for Thursday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m.

Being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:25 p.m.
