MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS

CITY OF WESTMINSTER, MARYLAND
MAY 8, 2001

A Special Meeting of The Mayor and Council was held in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 1838 Emerald Hill Lane, on the evening of May 8, 2001, at 7:00 p.m.Mayor Yowan; Council President Halstad; Council Members Albert, Calwell, Dayhoff and Pecoraro; Department Heads Beyard, Dutterer and Joneckis; and City Attorney Walsh were present.

The purpose of the Special Meeting was to conduct the Public Hearing on the proposed FY 2001-02 Budget, consisting of the General, Sewer and Water Funds, and Capital Improvements Program (CIP).No persons were in attendance at the Hearing to offer comment or ask questions regarding the budgetary process.

Mr. Beyard advised that the budget included funding to begin work on the design phase of the new downtown parking garage.

Mayor Yowan closed the Hearing at 7:05 p.m.
