Maple Street Program City of Westminster Fix-up Program: Let the City help you fix up your home!
Through a grant from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, the City of Westminster's Department of Planning is offering matching grants of up to $1,000 to help homeowners improve their properties and their neighborhoods.

Follow these simple steps:
- Fill out this application (pdf) and submit, with required attachments, to Ms. Sandy Anderson in the City's Department of Planning at 56 W Main St or PO Box 710, Westminster, MD 21158.
- After receipt of approval, complete your project as described in your application.
- Upon completion of your project, submit this reimbursement application (pdf), with the required materials to the City.
- Wait for your check!
What else do I need to know?
- You must live in the mapped program area to be eligible
- The maximum benefit is $1,000
- The City will give you a refund for 1/2 your project cost, up to $1,000
- You must receive approval for your project BEFORE starting the work
- Funds are limited, and are available on a first-come-first-served basis
- Eligible work is limited to the exterior, front facade of your house
