Prevention of crime, protection of life, liberty and property, enforcement of all laws in a fair, impartial and complete manner and the detection of crime and apprehension of criminals.

The City is served by 43 sworn police officers, which provides patrol, traffic control, K-9 patrol, bike patrol, educational programs, and criminal and narcotic investigations. Our Communications Division and support staff made up of 11 non-sworn members are dedicated to outstanding public service.
